Donating Money

You can use the donation button at the right hand side of this page. The donation uses the exact same encryption system used by Paypal itself and is 100% secure.

You simply choose your amount from the dropdown list and press the donation button. Fill in your card details and that is it - Just like buying anything on the net. Paypal customers can login as normal and pay in the usual safe way. You credit card will show 'TRAVISTREK ' on your statement.

The newest way to donate to Travistrek though is by SMS text message. Just added for this year is the ability to donate by Texting 'TRAV ' to '84424 ' - This will only cost £3 and will be deducted off your mobiles account just as any other voting poll or quiz off the TV or radio does. A fantastically easy way to donate, I'm sure you will agree. Get Texting!

Donating Time

At various times, the team go collecting money by shaking cans at different places. A rugby match, a football match, outside a superstore or like last year, the centre of Glasgow itself where the 10th girl guide company helped to collect a handsome amount from shoppers. We will undoubtedly be doing a similar thing this year and we always need helpers.

Please keep checking the Trek News Centre for dates and come along if you can. Please feel free to contact us beforehand to let us know or ask any questions or simply turn up on the day. Either way is great. Thank You.

Donating Prize or Raffle Items

So you don't have money and you don't have time? - No problem! You can still help. :-)

Scott and Travis hold a raffle / presentation night for each Trek and we always need prizes and things to auction. In the past, we have even had a special round of golf donated which went down a storm at auction time. Maybe you are a company who can offer a bottle of whiskey or a white water rafting afternoon or... you get the picture, yeah?

Anything else that you think you can offer can also go on Ebay through Travistrek's Ebay account: In the past we have had signed and framed shirts from Rangers, Celtic, Motherwell and Glasgow Warriors as well as gifts from many other clubs.

You may even be (figuratively) sitting on something that the team requires for their trek. Company that sells waterproofs or rucksacks? A case of Red Bull to give them wings? Owner of a B& B along the Pennine Way? All companies will be mentioned and actively promoted nationally on this site. Thank You in advance.
